This beautiful coat is in excellent condition for its age. Sadly it does have a lingering smoke odor when you put your nose to the fabric. I do feel this will improve with time, and airing out. If it were warm here in Wisconsin I would be airing it myself. A dry cleaner may be able to make some improvement and there are other methods you can try as well.
It is absolutely wearable as is but you should be aware of the smell. And honestly, it was very possible this was smoked in or worn around plenty of smokers due to the time period it comes from.
Wrinkled simply from having been stored folded, will relax being stored hung up again.
